Community Guidelines

Last updated May 2026.

We built this platform for women who are serious about building something real. These guidelines protect that standard for everyone.

1.What We Stand For

Women Who Build exists to give every woman in business access to the tools, knowledge, and community that help her build something real. We are a platform built on practicality, honesty, and genuine support. Every member of this community is here because they are building something or want to. We expect every interaction on this platform to reflect that shared commitment.

2.Expected Behaviour

All members are expected to treat other members, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and Women Who Build staff with respect at all times. Be honest in your interactions. Do not misrepresent your business, your experience, or your credentials. Share knowledge generously. This community grows when members contribute genuinely rather than take only. Engage constructively. Disagreement is welcome. Disrespect is not. Protect the confidentiality of information shared by other members in roundtables or private settings.

3.Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct will result in immediate account suspension or termination. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or intimidation of any member, speaker, or Women Who Build representative. Sharing false, misleading, or defamatory information about any person or business. Promoting products, services, or opportunities in an unsolicited or deceptive manner. Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or any business model that requires recruiting other members to generate income. Spamming other members through any platform channel. Sharing another member's personal information without their consent. Using the platform to solicit investment, donations, or financial contributions from other members. Any conduct that is illegal under Australian law.

4.Commercial Activity

Members may share information about their own businesses in appropriate contexts. Unsolicited direct selling or promotion to other members is not permitted. Exhibitor and sponsor opportunities exist for businesses who want to reach our community formally. Please use those channels rather than approaching members directly.

5.Events

At Women Who Build events all members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Disruptive behaviour at events will result in removal from the event and may result in account termination. Event photography and recording policies will be communicated at each event and must be respected.

6.Reporting

If you experience or witness conduct that violates these guidelines please report it through the contact form at womenwhobuild.com.au/contact. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good faith report.

7.Enforcement

Women Who Build Australia reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of any member who violates these guidelines. Decisions regarding enforcement are made at our sole discretion. Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent account termination without refund of any membership fees paid.

8.Updates

These guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect the evolution of our community. We will notify members of material changes by email.
